A moiré pattern is a pattern that arises from overlapping patterns. The slight difference in the patterns cause interference wich results in a moiré pattern. In this soundscape I tried to use small difference in sound to recreate moiré in sound. I varied sound properties like panning, volume, waveform and frequency to translate the moiré phenomena as I experienced it into a soundscape. Because moiré is about small differences and has a subtle and soothing character - at least for me - I chose to make the sound audible between 1 and 6 at night. At that time your mind is in such state that it is able to focus on every subtlety.
